Airsoft Revolution 15
The community is still here.
I played these fields. I competed there. I made friends there. AR15 supported me and Black Phantoms, and I will always appreciate what they did for San Antonio airsoft.
I am not glad to see these places go. I am as disappointed as everyone else.
But fields closing does not close a community. The players are still here. So are the teams, the builders and the friendships — and so is the need for somewhere to play.
But I have also spent years saying what I thought a field could do better. Better layouts. Better competition. Better training. A better first day for new players.
So the question is not whether the community is still here. It is what comes next. Project Phantom is how we start that conversation — and if something does get built, it should be built with the people who will actually play there.
