Questions

Frequently asked questions

The questions we get asked most before a first job.

How do I start a repair or upgrade?

Submit a service request describing the platform and either the symptom or the goal. We review it, confirm the work is something we take on, and tell you what to send or bring before you ship anything.

Do I get a quote before you start work?

Yes. Every job gets a diagnostic inspection first, then an itemized estimate showing parts, labour and what each line is fixing. Nothing is ordered or opened up further until you approve it.

What happens if I decline the estimate?

You pay the diagnostic and the equipment goes back to you, reassembled. You are never committed to the repair by asking for the diagnosis.

What if the repair comes in under the estimate?

You pay the lower amount. The estimate is a ceiling, not a target.

Can I supply my own parts?

Yes. We review compatibility before installing and will tell you if a part is a poor match for the rest of the setup. Customer-supplied parts are installed and tested, but we cannot warrant the part itself.

How long will my repair take?

Turnaround depends on the work and on parts availability, and we do not publish a blanket time we might not meet. You get an expected timeframe with your estimate, and your ticket is updated as the job moves.

Is my gun chronographed before it comes back?

Yes. Function testing and chronograph readings are part of quality control on any job that affects velocity or consistency, and the readings are recorded on your ticket.
